Tradae’ Moore, Development Specialist with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI Georgia). Originally from Maywood, Illinois, Tradae’ is a mental health advocate who fights for herself, as well as for family and friends. Tradae’ states, “Mental health is an area of health that affects every one of us, and there needs to be more people willing to have the conversations necessary to rid the generational curses that we as African Americans continue to face. I have learned that it is up to us to gain the knowledge to afford everyone the same opportunities in life. I want to make sure that if no one else does, I have a better understanding of individuals living with a mental health condition.”
Tradae’ is responsible for the NAMI Georgia Walk and is going full speed ahead to make sure it is successful for 2020, in spite of the current issues we all face as it relates to “covid 19.” To be a part of this years NAMIGA Walk go to http://www.namiwalks.org/georgia, please consider creating a team or joining a team.
